Privacy Policy

By Heart

Effective: 30 September 2026

By Heart is made by Nicholas Robinson-Wall (“we”). This policy explains what happens to the things you put into By Heart.

The short version: we never see your data. By Heart has no accounts, no analytics and no advertising. We don’t run any servers that your information passes through.

Where your information is kept

Features that use your device or Apple’s services

Links you add

If you add a web link, for example to a gift idea, By Heart may contact that website to fetch its preview image. That website sees a normal request from your device, just as it would if you visited it, and its own privacy policy applies. By Heart sends none of your other information with that request.

Third-party services

By Heart includes no third-party SDKs, analytics, advertising or crash-reporting services. The only outside services it uses are Apple’s, as described above.

What we collect

Nothing. We don’t collect, store, sell or share any personal information, usage data or diagnostics.

If you test By Heart through TestFlight, Apple may share crash reports and feedback with us, but only when you choose to send them. Apple’s TestFlight terms cover this.

How long your information is kept

Your information stays on your device and in your iCloud account until you delete it. We hold none of it, so there’s nothing for us to keep or delete.

Deleting your information

Children

We don’t knowingly collect information from anyone, children included. While By Heart does not contain content inappropriate for children, it isn’t designed with children in mind.

Changes

If this policy changes, we’ll update the effective date above. If a change affects how your information is handled, we’ll also say so in the app’s release notes.
